This was Correct Contract Services (CCS) first whole house retrofit project for New Forest District Council (NFDC), covering 80 properties funded by the SHDF Wave 1 funding stream. CCS served as the Principal Designer for this project.

The project focused on a "fabric first" approach in accordance with SHDF funding limitations, with additional measures including:

  • Ventilation
  • Cavity Wall Insulation
  • Loft Insulation
  • Door Undercuts
  • ASHP
  • Solar PV

The project was managed and carried out by a dedicated team employed full-time by CCS, including a Retrofit Operations Manager, Retrofit Contract Manager, Retrofit Site Supervisor, Retrofit Advisor/RLO, Cavity Wall Operatives, Loft Installers, Electricians, and Multi Trade workers, among others. Administration, compliance, finance, and procurement teams provided support.

CCS oversaw the entire project in collaboration with the client, handling customer engagement, design coordination, customer profiling, installation, post-monitoring, and lodgement. Reporting requirements, monitoring, and coordination with DESNZ representatives were also managed by CCS.

Weekly service delivery meetings and monthly contract meetings were held with the client team to address site-based, customer, and operational issues. Quarterly Core Group meetings were also scheduled to discuss escalations, concerns, risk register, contract delivery, and commercial matters. Key performance indicators and metrics were shared weekly with NFDC.

Following the successful completion of SHDF Wave 1, CCS was delighted to announce the renewal of its contract with NFDC to continue delivering Wave 2.1 until 2025. The project is currently in progress and is projected to add 100 units annually.
