CCS Takes on Charity 5-a-Side Tournament to Support Charlie's Star
CCS is proud to be entering two teams into this year's charity 5-a-side football tournament as we come together to raise vital funds for a truly inspiring cause.
Our Andover team will be taking to the pitch on Tuesday, 4th August, followed by our Nottingham team on Tuesday, 11th August. Both squads will be representing CCS with determination, teamwork, and plenty of competitive spirit, all while supporting a charity that makes a real difference to families facing unimaginable circumstances.
Supporting Charlie's Star
This year, our fundraising efforts are dedicated to Charlie's Star, a remarkable Wiltshire-based charity that provides hope and support to bereaved families who have lost a child under the age of 19.
Charlie's Star was established with a simple but powerful mission. Create hope and smiles for families during some of their most difficult times. The charity provides fully funded seven-day respite breaks in Cornwall, giving families the opportunity to step away from everyday pressures, spend quality time together, reflect, and create new memories in a supportive environment.
The work carried out by Charlie's Star has a profound impact on the families it supports, offering comfort, care, and precious moments of togetherness when they are needed most.
