CCS Company Days 2025

Four Days, Two Venues
Earlier this month, Correct Contract Services (CCS) held four company days to allow almost everyone from the business to attend. The first venue was Kettering Park, which made it easier for staff in the north of the country to attend. To accommodate our staff in the south, the second venue was Hampshire County Cricket Club's ground, The Utilita Stadium in Southampton.
This was an excellent opportunity to bring staff together. Meeting up with others and exchanging ideas is an important part of these days. Speakers at these company days gave an overview of the company and their individual departments to keep staff abreast of all that is happening.

CCS Managing Director, Danny Gladwyn, gave a brief overview of why we were bringing the staff together, along with the aims and targets moving forward.
Finance Director, Leigh Hope, provided a thorough and positive update on the past, present, and future of CCS, highlighting the company’s strong financial position and how our well-managed growth has been a success, which is set to continue on a similar trajectory.
Head of People & Governance, Sarah Tomlinson, outlined our progress with the recruitment and retention of staff. She also explained how Training and Development are evolving and expanding to support the ever-growing CCS.
Compliance & Safety Manager, James Stevens, delivered an engaging update on safety and fleet operations and set out the CCS strategy for environmental responsibility and sustainability.
Head of Business Partnerships, Jordan Shelley, spoke about future targets and how we maintain our future growth within the industry. He also informed the group of the expansion of the Business Development team over the past twelve months and the changes the group has introduced.
Customer Experience Manager, James Bishenden, emphasised the importance of enhancing our customer experience. Customer experience has been identified as the number one metric that CCS is focusing on improving, as this not only makes life easier for customers but also creates a smoother working day for staff. This message was reiterated throughout all four days, underlining its importance.

Sam Johnson
Since joining the company at the end of 2024, Sam has made a remarkable impact on our training and development processes in a very short time. She has streamlined and organised our mandatory requirements into a structured approach that not only facilitates learning but also ensures full compliance with our many accreditations and legal obligations.
Sam is always willing to help others in the team, offering her support with tasks like spreadsheet development, especially for those of us who aren't as tech-savvy. Her dedication, initiative, and collaborative spirit make her a true asset to the team.

James McWilliams
Jingles is everyone’s ‘go-to guy’. His experiences and knowledge of CCS personnel as well as its business systems have been invaluable as a newcomer, if only we could bottle it 😊.
Jingles rises to every challenge and request made of him (there are a lot!) from all areas of the business, including those requests outside the scope of his general job role, with unwavering willingness to help. Â He is diligent and tenacious in all that he is asked to do and delivers it with a smile.
Ian Pearson
Since joining, Ian has been a driving force in completely transforming our online presence, achieving an outstanding growth of over 300% in our social media metrics and producing A1 content, allowing us to stand out amongst our competitors. His website overhaul has also significantly enhanced our online appearance and aligned our digital footprint with the company's size, effectively showcasing our daily achievements and recognising our colleagues. Furthermore, Ian has been instrumental in launching our new company newsletter, demonstrating his significant effort to keep the entire business informed of changes. He's a reliable and supportive resource for numerous teams, always willing to assist, even remotely (clearly, not even the beach or Times Square can keep him away from his laptop!).
Jenna Baker
Jenna has battled through some adversity and some overly difficult times, and from the feedback at the HG meeting, the contract, despite understaffing and the other issues they have faced, is in a great place. She maintains a fantastic repour with all the HG engineers, and they will do anything for her and the company because of her hard work and dedication.
