CCS Work To Refresh Outdoor Space

At Correct Contract Services (CCS), we believe that delivering quality heating and compliance services to Cornwall Housing customers is only part of our role. Making a real difference in the communities we serve is just as important. Our recent social value project at Wyndhurst Orchard, a retirement housing complex in Wadebridge, Cornwall, is a perfect example of that commitment in action.
We were working alongside our partners, Cornwall Housing, fellow contractors Cardo Group, and some Wyndhurst Orchard residents, who all got involved. Members of the CCS team, including Business Manager Tim Chapman, Customer Experience Manager James Bishenden, and Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) Sarah Smith, worked to transform the outdoor space into a more enjoyable and welcoming area.
The enthusiastic team spent the day improving the garden and outdoor areas, tidying up communal spaces, and creating a brighter, more inviting environment for everyone to enjoy. The day was full of teamwork, laughter, and a shared sense of pride in the results.
To celebrate everyone’s hard work, CCS treated the group to a well-earned fish and chips lunch, bringing everyone together for a tasty meal.
“It was brilliant to see everyone getting involved,” said Sarah Smith. “Projects like this are what social value is all about. Working alongside customers and our partners to create lasting improvements in people’s day-to-day lives.”
James Bishenden added, “CCS’ involvement on this project reaffirms our ongoing commitment to social value initiatives within the local community in Cornwall. They are also a great chance to build relationships, listen to customers, and give back in a meaningful way.”
This event forms part of CCS’s ongoing commitment to supporting Cornwall Housing in delivering not only safe, compliant, and energy-efficient homes but also thriving, connected communities.
