Charlestown Rockets U11s Get Some Fresh Kit

As a new football season approaches, a sense of excitement is building across the country. For fans and players alike, it’s a fresh campaign full of optimism. The dream is as old as football itself: winning the league, lifting a cup, and getting one over on your rivals.

To mark this moment, a pristine new kit, backed by a proud sponsor, can give any team an extra boost. For the Charlestown Rockets Under-11s, the countdown is well underway. To fuel their preparations, Tim Chapman and Jim Littleton from our Cornwall office joined the team and coaches to unveil and hand out their smart new kits, which proudly feature the CCS logo.

After a great evening meeting the youngsters, Tim said, "It was a very enjoyable and rewarding evening. All the young players were incredibly well-behaved and polite, and it was great to see them so happy with their new kit. We're really looking forward to seeing how they get on this season."

The Charlestown Rockets U11s Manager & Coach, Dan Lean, also shared his thoughts: “There’s nothing quite like the feeling of pulling on a fresh kit. It brings pride, unity, and a real sense of belonging to these young players.

"At the grassroots level, funding is always a challenge, so we are all very grateful that CCS was able to step in and support the team. Seeing the kids' faces light up when they saw their new shirts, complete with the CCS logo, was priceless.

"We look forward to playing our final season of non-competitive football in our new kit, where we hope to continue along our path of development and inclusivity before football becomes competitive at U12.

"Thanks so much to CCS for the support and for bringing joy to these budding young players."
