A Festive Feast at The Hill

Correct Contract Services (CCS) was proud to support a heart-warming Christmas lunch for local senior residents at The Hill Community Centre in Banbury, helping to bring festive cheer, companionship and a sense of community to those who needed it most. CCS was represented on the day by James Bishenden, our Customer Experience Manager, who joined residents in celebrating the occasion.

Held on Friday, December 12th at lunchtime, the event welcomed elderly residents from the local area for a traditional Christmas celebration. Guests enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner, followed by mince pies and coffee, all served in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The afternoon was filled with laughter, conversation and a joyful Christmas sing‑song, giving everyone the chance to join in and celebrate together. For many attendees, the real highlight was simply the opportunity to spend time with others. Several residents shared that this gathering might be their only Christmas celebration, making the event especially meaningful.

The lunch was organised by The Hill Community Centre, with valued support from Cherwell District Council, Sanctuary and Correct Contract Services. CCS is proud to have funded the Christmas turkey, crackers and mince pies, helping to ensure everyone could enjoy a traditional festive meal. Representatives from all supporting organisations attended on the day, helping to serve meals, chat with residents and ensure the event ran smoothly.

For CCS, being involved was about more than providing support. It was about making a genuine difference. Seeing how much the residents appreciated the company and festive spirit was a powerful reminder of the importance of community-led events, particularly at Christmas.

CCS is delighted to have played a part in such a special occasion and would like to thank The Hill Community Centre and all partners involved for their dedication in creating a memorable day for Banbury’s senior residents.

At CCS, we remain committed to supporting local communities and initiatives that bring people together and make a positive, lasting impact.
