CCS is donating £500 to help Whittle & S’more Forest School recover following two incidents of vandalism in just two days.

The much-loved outdoor learning space, based in Ludgershall near our Andover headquarters, provides children and their caregivers with a welcoming, nature-based environment to explore, learn and build confidence.

On 19 July, the Forest School shared that its site had been broken into and vandalised. In a subsequent update, the team said the damage had become “100 times worse”.

There was damage to the Forest School’s equipment and outdoor space, including broken toys, general equipment smashed, and ransacked storage sheds.

For a small, independent setting, incidents like this can have a significant impact. Resources, equipment and the carefully created environment all need time, care and funding to repair or replace, so children can continue to enjoy the safe, engaging outdoor experiences the Forest School offers.

CCS is pleased to contribute £500 towards the recovery effort and help Whittle & S’more get back on their feet.

We hope our donation, alongside support from the wider community, will help restore this special local space quickly.
