CCS Donates Electrical Equipment to Andover College
At CCS, supporting future talent and giving back to our local communities is hugely important to us. We are delighted to announce our recent donation of electrical equipment and components to Andover College, which we hope will help aspiring electricians gain vital practical experience on their training courses.
The initiative was coordinated by Richard Lord, Lead Electrical QS at CCS, alongside Ian Pearson, Digital Marketing Executive. Recognising that access to hands-on materials makes all the difference when mastering a trade, the team gathered a wide range of useful electrical kit for the college’s workshops.
The delivery was made in person to the Andover Campus reception by Ian Pearson and Olivia Muscat, Customer Experience Manager at CCS. The consignment was warmly received by Julie Milburn, Principal and Chief Executive of Andover College, and Helen Perry, Assistant Principal.

Speaking about the donation, Assistant Principal Helen Perry said:
"Andover College (Sparsholt College Group) is very grateful for CCS's generous donation of consumer units, sockets and switches. These will significantly enhance our Electrical Installation provision, enabling learners to gain additional hands-on experience with industry-standard equipment. These resources will allow students to further develop and refine practical skills, preparing them for the demands of the modern electrical industry.
Learners will be able to undertake more advanced installation, testing, inspection and fault-finding activities that directly reflect workplace tasks carried out by electricians, domestic installers, maintenance electricians and electrical contractors"
Investing in vocational training helps build a safer, more skilled industry for tomorrow. CCS is proud to partner with local educational institutions like Andover College, and we wish all the students the best of luck as they advance through their electrical qualifications and take their first steps into the trade.
