Stress Awareness Month 2026
Small Actions, Big Impact at CCS
April marks Stress Awareness Month, and this year’s theme, #BeTheChange, is a reminder that even small actions can make a big difference to our mental health and wellbeing.
At Correct Contract Services (CCS), we know that mental health is just as important as physical health and safety. Whether at work or at home, stress can build up quietly through workload, life pressures, uncertainty, or personal challenges. That’s why creating a supportive environment, where people feel comfortable speaking up and asking for help, matters so much.
Why Stress Awareness Matters
Stress affects everyone differently. For some, it can show up as tiredness, poor sleep, headaches, or feeling overwhelmed. For others, it may affect mood, concentration, or confidence.
Recognising the signs early and taking action can help prevent stress from becoming something more serious. Sometimes, the smallest steps can make the biggest difference:
- Taking a proper break
- Speaking to someone you trust
- Asking for support when you need it
- Checking in with a colleague
- Making time to reset and recharge
This year’s #BeTheChange campaign encourages all of us to take ownership of the small, positive changes that support better wellbeing, for ourselves and for those around us.

Support Beyond the Workplace
CCS is also proud to support ANDYSMANCLUB, through our connection with Quality Assurance Engineer, Jon Buckland.
ANDYSMANCLUB is a men’s mental health and suicide prevention charity offering free, peer-to-peer support groups across the UK and online. Their aim is simple but powerful: to break the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and create safe spaces where men can talk openly, without judgement.
Sessions take place every Monday at 7 pm (excluding bank holidays), and there is no pressure to speak. Attending and listening is equally valued.
Their message is one we strongly support:
#ItsOkayToTalk
The Stress Management Society is a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping individuals and companies recognise and reduce stress.
Their website is a valuable resource and contains a lot of useful information that can really help.Â
Let’s #BeTheChange Together
Stress Awareness Month is about more than just awareness, it’s about action.
At CCS, we want everyone to feel supported, heard and able to ask for help when they need it. Whether that’s starting a conversation, taking a break, checking in on someone else, or reaching out for support, every action matters.
This April, let’s all take one small step towards better wellbeing.
Small actions. Big impact. #BeTheChange
