As a commercial manager, you will oversee policy-level Commercial operations for the company. You will identify and develop better business opportunities for improved growth. Your duties include maintaining client relationships, analysing current strategies, and developing improved action plans. You will work with other department heads and managers to educate on good commercial practices.

Duties:
- Management of the sub-contractor application process using agreed dates and ensure prompt and swift communication.
- Overseeing the process of issuing service agreements to all sub-contractors on a generic or project specific basis.
- Management and resolution defects and incurred costs monthly with sub-contractors.
- Support and assist operational teams with valuations, costing of SORS and ongoing education/coaching of costing and evaluating works.
- Support and validate estimator to ensure accurate consistent pricing using historical date and costs to ensure competitive and viable bids.
- Overseeing monthly application payments to clients and ensuring accuracy of reporting (Where applicable).
- Undertake regular supplier review meetings for Sub-Contractors and setting/resetting KPIs, communicating and management, supporting supply chain to build and enhance CCS coverage and capacity and build loyalty through positive relationships.
- Work with the Compliance team to onboard and management the supply chain compliance ensuring extremely high standards at all times.
- Work with compliance and Ops team to ensure a robust sub-contractor audit policy and process on site.
- Work with Operations teams to hold suppliers to account for certification and documentation submissions at all times (Weekly)
- Oversee issuing of orders and program data to supply chain as a routine service to support operations teams, deal with queries and questions regarding this.
- Visit site to validate claims when required or to resolve disputes as an independent view from a centralized commercial team perspective.
- Oversee, build and assist with creation, upkeep and management of a commercial team operating manual and implement these processes day to day.
- Providing detailed reports weekly to the Directors.
- Manage and participate in handover of secured projects from commercial team to Head of Departments internally and minute and record handovers and briefings.
- Lead all dispute resolution with regards to both internal and external stakeholders relating to materials and services to ensure lessons learned and reporting non-conformances accordingly in line with compliance.
- Using the Protean suite of products to develop reporting for the commercial departments to benefit all.
- Misc orders and reporting of outstanding (orders not booked in exceeding the due/completion date)
- Low margin flags and reviewing the trends.
- Cost to complete on projects.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Working toward or hold CIPS or equivalent QS accreditation.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products (preference Access)
- Strong analytical skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent time management.

Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years experience, working in the Construction Industry
