Duties:
- Manage and oversee surveyor workloads, ensuring surveys are scheduled and delivered on time.
- Quality check survey analyses and ensure accurate job packs are created for installations.
- Monitor and maintain high standards across all survey submissions and documentation.
- Support the technical admin team by lodging and tracking installation submissions.
- Act as a point of contact for escalations relating to defective or incomplete paperwork.
- Collaborate with installation managers and other stakeholders to resolve survey-related issues efficiently.
- Take ownership of the survey and submission pipeline, ensuring targets and compliance levels are met.
- Lead team meetings and briefings to drive alignment and performance across the team.
- Provide coaching and support to junior team members and new starters, ensuring they are trained in systems and processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of software systems used for submission and survey digitalisation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, refining processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Take ownership of and manage the company’s defects process, using internal systems (e.g. Protean) to log, track, and update defect resolutions.
- Regularly report on team performance, issues, and operational progress to senior management.

Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong leadership potential and desire to grow into a full management role.

- Experience working in a technical, administrative, or survey-related environment – minimum 2 years.
- Previous team support or coordination experience preferred.
- Attention to detail with an interest in renewables and retrofit technologies.
Experience Required:
- 2+ years' experience in a technical, surveying, or construction-related role.
- Experience coordinating or supporting field teams, ideally within survey, installation, or retrofit environments.
- Exposure to planning and scheduling of construction or maintenance projects.
- Proven customer service experience, including handling queries or complaints professionally.
- Office-based team support experience, including liaising with engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with basic data entry, reporting, and CRM systems.
- Experience contributing to or supporting compliance, submissions, or quality assurance processes.
Desirable:
- Experience with ECO (Energy Company Obligation) submissions and understanding of compliance standards.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent platforms.
- Knowledge of TrustMark procedures and requirements.
- Exposure to defects management systems and quality assurance workflows.
- Experience in survey scheduling and resource planning.
- Basic understanding of retrofit and renewable energy installations (e.g., insulation, heating systems, solar).
- Previous involvement in team leadership, training, or mentoring.
- Competence using digital survey tools or mobile data collection apps.
- An interest in continuous improvement and contributing to process optimisation.
